Angiolinos- simple fresh ingredients, but really good. Great cappuccino and bruschetta (on the non touristy side of Florence / other side of florence)

Il latini- Florentine staple, order the Bistecca Fiorentina

Buca Mario*- One of the best restaurants in Florence (get bistecca fiorentina here)

Trattoria Marione- solid place

Trattoria Gargante * really good, not touristy

Trattoria Mario- authentic italian place

Trattoria Zazas- good place near the train station

Trattoria Dall’ Oste – Order the Bistecca Fiorentina (Florentine Steak)

Pizza:

Pizzaiuolo – best in florence **, not touristy

Café italiano- very good

‘Omunacielo- very good, authentic, other side of the river

Gusta Pizza- really good, but tourist trap

La Divina Pizza- also very good pizza, but not typical Italian flavors, more funky flavors but still awesome. Also, they have an excellent Imported beer selection

Salumeria Verdi – best in Florence **
