When looking for hotels, use Kayak I have found that is the best website to book hotels. However they are sometimes a little more expensive because they charge commission. So do your research on Kayak because it is a great website, then either book there go straight to the hotels website and book there.

Airbnb or VRBO are also a great place to book where you’ll be staying. Often times you’ll find a cooler place to crash, for much cheaper, and more attentive service. Usually the best bang for your buck, although I have found that increasingly hotel prices have become more competitive. If you are sharing a home with friends on one of these types of platforms, having a check in/out where you are given an access code (i.e. the door has a digital key padlock) makes it a lot easier so that you don’t have to meet the host for a key, and everyone staying in the house can easily access the house when they want.
